I am the owner and broker-in-charge of Realty One. Prior to Realty One, I worked for a local real estate company for 5 years where I earned awards and recognition as top producer for that company. I first earned my real estate license in 1998 while working with a for sale by owner company. Having worked in that position as well as now over the past several years as a full service Realtor, has given me unique perspective on this industry and in assisting homeowners and homebuyers.
I left the real estate industry for a short time period beginning in 1999 to work with a local insurance company. I received valuable experience as a call center manager there in dealing with employees, conflict, resolution and the customer experience. I used these acquired skills and knowledge to re-enter the real estate industry and to eventually manage and own Realty One. I believe in providing what customers need: honesty, professional advice, experience, and ultimately results. I have lived in the Winston-Salem area for over 25 years, and call it home. I serve several counties including Forsyth, Guilford, Davidson, Davie, Stokes, Yadkin.

Harold Hicks, Broker

I’ve worked in a customer driven industry since I got my first job at 16. I started in the restaurant business as a waiter and after college moved to a customer service position in the insurance industry. The number one rule I have learned over the years is the customer/client is the number one priority. When building a new agent client relationship I like to first start with the wants/needs of the client. Having that information can help to make the real estate transaction easy and enjoyable because everyone is on the same page.
