I am the owner and broker-in-charge of Realty One. Prior to Realty One, I worked for a local real estate company for 5 years where I earned awards and recognition as top producer for that company. I first earned my real estate license in 1998 while working with a for sale by owner company. Having worked in that position as well as now over the past several years as a full service Realtor, has given me unique perspective on this industry and in assisting homeowners and homebuyers.

I left the real estate industry for a short time period beginning in 1999 to work with a local insurance company. I received valuable experience as a call center manager there in dealing with employees, conflict, resolution and the customer experience. I used these acquired skills and knowledge to re-enter the real estate industry and to eventually manage and own Realty One. I believe in providing what customers need: honesty, professional advice, experience, and ultimately results. I have lived in the Winston-Salem area for over 25 years, and call it home. I serve several counties including Forsyth, Guilford, Davidson, Davie, Stokes, Yadkin.

I have been helping real estate clients since 2003. In these 8 years I have discovered the joy of helping a buyer purchase a home, or a homeowner sell a home and move forward in life. Most of my clients are referred to me from other happy clients that I assisted in the home buying or selling process. Its thrilling to have clients referred to me, the best indicator that I am serving my clients well. I have earned awards in my real estate career such as Multi Million dollar producer. I also love to volunteer - I serve on the board of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Davie county and do various other volunteering for BBBS. I also serve on the North Carolina Association of Educators. Marsha Postlewaite, Broker

Marsha has lived in Pittsburg, Chicago, New Jersey and Boston before landing unexpectedly in Winston-Salem in 1978. She has a BA from Gordon College located in Wenham, Massachusetts in Sociology/Psychology.
After raising three wonderful children and finding herself single again, she decided to pursue a dream of living in Charleston, South Carolina. The call of the ocean and a historical town were compelling. She worked in interior design and staging while living there, another dream of hers. An added bonus is that she met her wonderful husband, Jay, while living in Charleston. Marsha and Jay have recently moved back to Winston-Salem realizing that there is no place like home.  Marsha has a love of home design and staging and an innate sense of what people are looking for in a home. She would love to help you find a home or sell your present home. Marsha lives on the west side of Winston-Salem and is very familiar with the triad area.

I moved to Winston Salem on my 8th birthday and have called Winston home for 20 years. Winston was a great place to grow up because it was a decent size city with a small town feel. I attended Mt. Tabor High School and after graduation left town for a few years to attend East Carolina University. While at ECU I majored in Media Productions. After graduation I couldn't think of a better place to live than Winston so I moved back home. The thing I love the most about Winston and the Triad area is the down home southern hospitality that you find throughout the city. As I start my own family there is no where else I would prefer to raise my daughter than here in the Triad.

I’ve worked in a customer driven industry since I got my first job at 16. I started in the restaurant business as a waiter and after college moved to a customer service position in the insurance industry. The number one rule I have learned over the years is the customer/client is the number one priority. When building a new agent client relationship I like to first start with the wants/needs of the client. Having that information can help to make the real estate transaction easy and enjoyable because everyone is on the same page.
